CH327 Dining Table by Carl Hansen & Søn
Hans J. Wegner designed the CH327 dining table to match the CH24 Wishbone chairs. Even though it is intended for dining it also makes a functional desk or meeting table.
The table achieves an elegant lightness due to the tapered edges of the table top which nearly floats above the frame.
The rounded legs finish the overall impression of effortless agility as they taper elegantly from the frame to the floor.
The table top is made from uninterrupted sections of solid Beech, Oak or Walnut running the entire length of the table. This solution compared to full-width table tops results in a more harmonious surface and is considerably more difficult to produce. For 2022, the 190 cm table is now available in FSC-certified Teak with an oiled finish (As shown in our main, ‘hero’ image).
The table is available in two sizes: 190 cm or 248 cm length. The table accommodates up to two MDF extension leaves, which are optional and sold separately.

Materials
Frame available in a wide range of woods and finishes.
**Oak/Walnut is a mixed version with a table top in walnut and a base in oak.
Carl Hansen & Søn use premium quality Ash, beech, mahogany, oak, teak, and walnut. Finishes available are Soap, clear lacquer, oil, white oil.
Wood is a natural material and may vary depending on the environment – walnut and teak can vary considerably in tone and pattern even within the same log.
Extension leaf available in MDF grey or black.
