AJ Floor Lamp by Louis Poulsen
Originally designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, in 1957, the AJ Lamp is among Arne Jacobsen’s most significant design icons.
The iconic shade has a distinct, asymmetrical shape – the angle of which can be adjusted to optimise light distribution. The shade is painted white on the inside to ensure a soft comfortable light for reading or to brighten a corner at home.
For 2023 the colour palette has been adapted from some of Arne Jacobsen’s watercolour works together with colour master & designer Clara Von Zweigbergk.
The selection of subtle yet warm tones are ideal for modern homes where the palette is calming and soothing, while the Electric Orange colour adds a vibrant burst of colour to any interior. Check photographs for the cord colour.
