This beautiful and comfortable lounge chair from 1950, was part of Hans J. Wegner’s debut collection for Carl Hansen & Son and is now among the designer’s most well-known and sought-after creations.
CH22 is still manufactured using the same principles of craftsmanship at Carl Hansen’s family-owned workshop today.

Materials
Carl Hansen & Søn use premium quality timber for all their furniture:
the design of the piece dictates which species of timbers are available.
Oak&Walnut is a mixed version with a frame/cover cap in oak and armrest/backrest in walnut.
Note on finishes
Oak has a visible wood structure when painted, and is only available in Black.
Beech has minimal structure when painted and is available in colours selected by Carl Hansen & Søn.
As a natural material, timber may vary in tone and pattern even within the same log.
