CH29P Sawbuck Chair Upholstered by Carl Hansen & Søn
The CH29 chair, also known as ‘Sawbuck’ after the sawbucks or saw horses traditionally used by carpenters and woodcutters, was originally designed in 1952.
It became an immediate success thanks to its organic, comfort-driven design and unique visual aesthetic.
An upholstered seat provides even more comfort for dining or working.
The frame is available in either solid Beech or Oak in a variety of finishes.

Materials
Carl Hansen & Søn use premium quality timber for all their furniture:
the design of the piece dictates which species of timbers are available.
Note on finishes
Oak has a visible wood structure when painted, and is only available in Black.
Beech has minimal structure when painted and is available in colours selected by Carl Hansen & Søn.
As a natural material, timber may vary in tone and pattern even within the same log.
