IOI Wall Mirror by GamFratesi for Gubi
Drawing on geometric Art Deco references with a contemporary design language, GamFratesi designed the IOI Wall Mirror, a timeless piece ideal for contemporary interiors. The ‘sticks and sphere’ motif is reflected in the shape of the letters that form their name, pronounced ‘i-o-i.’
The brass sphere works as both a functional ‘spacer’ to strengthen the dual pipe-like mirror struts, and as an intimately considered signature detail or ‘pause’.
