Kiki Low Table By Artek
Its simple, compact, yet refined proportions, led to Kiki becoming a favourite of Modernist architects in Finland during the 1960s. With a frame made of distinctive oval steel tubing plus either a linoleum or laminate top, the table evokes a memorable monochrome simplicity.
The full Kiki collection includes the Kiki Lounge Chair, Bench, Sofa, and Low Table. Modular in nature, the pieces can be combined in any number of configurations, while their compact size means they fit naturally into smaller spaces. The resulting look is iconic in its simplicity. When presented at the Milan Triennale in 1960, the Kiki Chair took the gold medal.
