VLA77 Foyer Sofa by Vilhelm Lauritzen
The Foyer Series, which consists of a bench, a sofa and a lounge chair, is now made available to a wider audience for the first time. The family was originally designed for the foyer of Copenhagen’s Radiohuset in 1945, at a time when radio was a new and modern technology.
This luxurious and elegant furniture has been recreated in close collaboration with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects and with great respect for the original design. Our images show the bench in Oiled Oak and Sif Leather / 90.
The full Foyer series currently includes the VLA75 Foyer Bench, VLA76 Foyer Armchair and VLA77 Foyer Sofa.
Upholstery made to order in selected leather grades and colours (see a list under ‘Details’). Leathers are priced in ‘Groups’. Simply select the appropriate price Group and then add a note of your choice at checkout or email us.

Carl Hansen & Søn use premium quality oak. Finishes available for the Foyer series are Soap or Oil.
