Wooden Dolls by Vitra
Alexander Girard was one of the iconic figures of post-War American design.
These Wooden Dolls, which Girard created for his own home in Santa Fe and made himself, are inspired by his own extensive collection of works of folk art.
Based on originals found in the Girard Estate held by the Vitra Design Museum, the partly joyful, partly grim-looking company of dolls are now back in production as a charming enhancement to any interior.
